My Approach

The approaches I use are:

Psychodynamic

Relational

Existential

The Psychodynamic approach enables the client to explore their past issues and look at how these may be affecting them in the present. It also involves looking at attachment styles and relational patterns.

Relational Psychotherapy facilitates the client in exploring how they relate to themselves and other people in their life. This can then shed light on how they develop and sustain their relationships with others.

Existential Psychotherapy enables the client to consider the meaning of their life. It explores issues such as how they are able to live creatively and intimately. It also considers the major concerns in life such as life and death, meaning, isolation, responsiblity and loss.
